Gauhati University was established by an act of the State Legislature, namely, the Gauhati University Act 1947 (Assam Act, XVI of 1947), of the Government of Assam in the year 1948 conducting Walk in Interview for filling following Research Officers Post :
- Research Associate ,Fixed Pay: Rs.20,000
- Project Associate ,Fixed Pay:Rs.15,000
- Project Fellow ,Fixed Pay: Rs.12,000
- Project Assistant ,Fixed Pay: Rs.7,000
Qualifications :
Research Associate :-MTech in EC, ECE; programming skills in Matlab, C++
Project Associate :-MSc / BE/ BTech in EC, ECE; programming skills in Matlab, C++ with atleast three years experience in related areas
Project Fellow :-MSc / BE/ BTech in EC, ECE; programming skills in Matlab, C++
Project Assistant :-PG with adequate exposure to computers/office management;
